The Neighbourhood Nursery and Training Centre secured a total of £1.5 million in capital funding in order to build the nursery and training/comunity rooms.

The funding bodies include; European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), Sure Start, Department for Education and Skills (DfES), Neighbourhood Renewal Fund (NRF) and Job Centre Plus (JCP).

Despite rumours we can confirm that TLC did not recieve lottery funding for the project or any other projects.

Many job opportunities will be available from the start of this year including; Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, Nursery Officers, Nursery Nurses, Assistants, Catering Staff and Cleaners.

The nursery which will cater for 53 children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years, will be open from 7:30 am till 6:00 pm 5 days a week.
